The Slice from PBS North.

For our farm, it's a great way to connect with people within the city.

I'm with Roper Farms, is my family's farm, and then we're part of the Duluth Farmers Market Association.

Today is the first day of the farmer's market season, so we're open for business.

We enjoy the people.

Like there's a lot of customers that we've seen even come back, and it's fun to kind of catch up and see how their winter has been.

You see that picture that was painted by a customer?

Those are my children.

Those are his.

This is his kid.

So it's been 40, 45 years.

It's really great because it's all everything here is locally made by the person that's selling it.

And it's, it's really fun.

We have made friends down here, from customers to other vendors.

People come to see us week after week, and it's it's an awesome thing.

It's really about the, like the community that we build.

And we love being able to see people year after year or meet new people throughout the year.

So community is the best part for us.
